What I'm going to do is run this past a couple of our advisors and find out what they think, but my immediate thought is that since my time is so over-subscribed as it is, and bringing someone up to speed to successfully sell our products is a very big time commitment, I'm most inclined to think that what we will probably want to do is bring someone onto the team that owns the Bus. Dev. and Sales role, and let that person handle these kinds of decisions. I know you said you still have lot of connections from the Oracle days, so if you know anyone that might fit that role who has significant systems and/or storage experience, and you think they might be interested, definitely let me know. Dating back to the early 80s I started a solar heating company in upstate New York and I feel very strongly about green technology. Another reason is I think my skill set is a good match. I have had experience finding new business, managing accounts and have a pretty good list of contacts. I find it compelling that the technology is so green and that speaks to me on a personal level but just as important is I also love that fact that it speaks to a customers bottom line and I know customers love to save money. > > Just a little background; I was working at Oracle and I produced over 300% growth in my territory. I'm very happy I had the opportunity to work there because not only did I get to hone my consultative sales skills, I also met some great people in the companies who's accounts I managed. I have good relations with many of them and have stayed in touch and I have come to consider some of them friends. > > Because I have a degree in video and have directed several television commercials, I can help you produce promotional materials for online demo videos and customer testimonials. > > Here's the bad news, my experience at Oracle was in database licensing, security and management products and although I have had some hardware experience with Imation and APC, I would need to get up to speed on the specs of your products. I do understand servers and I learn very quickly but the way I would approach this challenge would be to start out learning enough so I can set up conference calls and meetings. At that point we have someone from your team work with me to field the more in the weeds technical questions. If that's a deal breaker I understand but I would be willing to try and minimize Lopoco's risk until I produce results. Let me know if you'd like to sit down and take a deeper look to see if we can make some money together. > > Jay Bond > jaybond@me.com > Phone 415-852-0347 > > > >
