ISA Tester (GEN3) New Hardware Spec

General specs:

• Server mainboard, mini-ITX or micro-ITX
  • Low end CPU with builtin video, low power consumption (25W-45W), 2-4 cores, modest clock speed, quiet HSF
  • Maximum memory capacity of 32GB (2 DIMM slots), but likely to have 8 or 16GB populated
  • A minimum of 2 PCIe 4x full height half length slots. 3-4 slots is better for the extra room.
• An empty full height 5.25” DVD/CD drive bay (not the slim height drive bay) to house the power PCB
• Standard ATX power supply (or backwards compatible) and associated cables
  • Additional separate male-to-male ATX main power cable, length as needed (roughly 6-8”) to reach the mainboard from the DVD bay
• Desktop case as opposed to Deskside or tower, but not small desktop (see PCIe requirements above)
