Autonegotiate works fine on Cougar management ports, and I thought it
also worked on Bobcat management ports.

Well, it only is capable of using TP media on the management ports, so
I'm thinking you're talking about whether autonegotiate is on or off.
It's on by default, and since Cougars have gigabit management ports,
they usually should be that way.
