All this anti-Mac FUD is very tiring. The truth, when boiled down: a
decision was made to base the company on the most expensive to support
and own, least functional, most insecure OS (by a factor of 1 million)
on the planet, and any attempt by right thinking employees to chose
something different, and therefore better, will be squashed. At LSI, in
IT at least, ignorance, and the fear that results from it, is king.=20

The one gratifying thing is that HR at LSI actually cares and gives a
damn about the employees, and tries to help. That's a competence that,
in my experience at least, is even rarer.

Thanks for all your attention on this Cathy.

For what it's worth, when discussing with HR the possibility of coming
with Onstor to LSI, I specifically asked if I would be required to use
Windows to work at LSI. I was told no. I guess I'm finding out the
real answer.
