Hi there.=20

=20

Due to some feedback I've restructed how Prevent runs are done and how
they are organized in the UI. The changes are these:

=20

-Upgraded to Prevent 3.3.1. The docset for command reference, user's
guides, etc., are located here:

=20

\\mightydog\QE\Perforce\Coverity\prevent-linux-3.3.1\doc
<file:///\\mightydog\QE\Perforce\Coverity\prevent-linux-3.3.1\doc>=20

=20

Max, you might be interested in checking out the command ref for the
cov-query-db command. I believe it give you text interface that you
want, and then some.=20

=20

-Split the SSC and other cores into two components of a run, so when you
login you weill see these two:

=20

EverON-SSC

EverON-EEE

=20

These will be the two main repositories going forward for all EverON
code runs. At the moment the commited runs are from DeLorean, next they
will be from Zonda, and finally Cougar. This represents the natural
progression of our code and should be easy to track trends in.

=20

-Please do not use the lower-case 'everon' product anymore, as it is now
obsolete and no new runs will be committed. Use the EverON-{SSC,EEE}
runs instead from now on.

=20

The newer version of Prevent has more checkers, and I've turned them all
on. The defect totals are now:

=20

EverON-SSC: 1068

EverON-EEE: 1385

=20

Total: 2453

=20

This is up from the 2005 number in the old runs.

=20

Next I will install this on compile2 and do a writeup on how to do your
own local runs, should you wish to.

=20

If there are any questions please feel free to ask, thanks,

=20

-Ken
