This is just FYI. We agreed to ship the two-step Delorean upgrade as a
backup to the flash and one-step upgrade, though we don't plan to
document or otherwise publicize the existence of the two-step method.
Step one is in Release 2.2.3, which Ed is working on now.

Keep in mind that using the upgrade program in 2.2.3 will reformat the
flash to the Delorean format. In general, that's a good thing, and will
add to stability of the system. There is also no backward compatibility
issue.

However, there is no way to go back to the old flash format. I can't
imagine why anybody would, but just for the record, we should keep that
in mind.
