Thanks Ken. The convention people started using in Delorean is to
include the CID # (Coverity ID #) in Perforce changelist descriptions
for cross-referencing purposes. At the moment we do are not planning
to maintain CQ defects for CID's. =20

Subject: Coverity accounts created for all

Per Brian's request, I've created accounts in Coverity Prevent for all
developers. Just go here:

http://10.0.0.123:5467

and login with your Perforce ID ( NIS UID ). The default password is
'coverity' but you can change it once you've logged in.=20

Once logged in, the default page for the everon product will appear. I
will be doing runs for each submittal, so when you use the tool it's
probably best to use the Last Run ID ( 9 as of today ). It also shows
the new defects gleaned since the last run, in this case 59 new defects
appeared. You can sort by files, functions, type of defect, etc.
depending on what your interest is. Please if you take the time to look
through the defects please leave a useful trail. Case in point all
Coverity defects ( CIDs ) start out in the class Uninspected. Once it's
been looked over please change the class to Bug, Intentional, etc. so
others that follow can benefit and we can start getting a better idea of
real bugs versus all Coverity reported defects.

If you have any questions on usage, please feel free to talk to me or
Brian or come by and we can poke around a bit. Thanks to those already
using the tool.

-Ken
