Yes, it is possible. I added the code to remove the web directory in the =
install but did not turn it on because installing all of the web help =
every install would add a few minutes to the already long install =
process. Also it was not clear to me if a customer would have the same =
problems we are having between submittals. I chose to remove all of the =
web code because many files have been deleted between releases and =
without doing some sort of removal, the directory would always grow in =
size until a flash initialization is run. A flash initialization is now =
one of the pre-reqs for upgrading to Delorean from either 2.2 or 1.3 =
which is another reason I did not enable the code in the upgrade =
procedure.

However, if it is the right thing to do, going beyond an initial install =
to Delorean, then I can easly add the call to the function that removes =
the webui files. If all you want is to remove the web/js/gns directory =
then that can be done, but then what else will come along that needs =
pruning?

One more note, there were more than just web files that were reported as =
being different from the distribution which tells me this was not just =
the botched gns directory problem.

Larry

Is it possible to clean the /usr/local/agile/web folder as part of the =
upgrade procedure? We faced another problem (18456) today because of =
this problem.

The files reported under ./usr/local/agile/web/js/gns could be due to =
the limitation we had with sub 9+ with GNS (i.e.) we need to remove =
./usr/local/agile/web/js/gns manually and perform the upgrade if not the =
upgrade wont upgrade the files under ./usr/local/agile/web/js/gns/. =
Probably thats the case here.

=20

Rest of the files, looks like a bug somewhere.

Ken, Larry, any thoughts on whether this is a build or install issue?
