Subject: Minutes from 4/12 Delorean Team Meeting

All,

If you missed today's meeting, then you can see what was presented by
using the following link:
\\mightydog\Program Management\Delorean\Weekly Team
Meetings\04-2007\04-12-2007\Team Meeting Agenda 4-12-07.ppt

Key decisions and actions from the meeting were as follows:
1)	Dennis provided details of when he needs each of the documents
reviewed and what are his completion dates. It was reiterated that each
core team member is responsible to get his function to provide feedback
within the requested review period timeframe.
2)	Jonathan reported that code has been checked in to enforce the
CIFS-GNS limits as specified in the MRD/PRD. Raj and Andy discussed
this with Narayan after the meeting ended. Narayan thinks it is prudent
to have these limits enforced in code for this initial release. We can
relax them later as we get more comfortable with the code.=20
3)	QE to re-run SFP to compare Bobcat to a Windows server. Need
this apples-to-apples comparison to decide whether or not the
performance should be improved further for Delorean. QE did not agree
to do the same for Linux since there are no plans to change the Delorean
code to improve Linux-cp results, and the SE's don't need the data. Jay
took the action to discuss this decision with Max since he had
originally requested the re-run happen for both Windows and Linux.
4)	Jerry did not accept any of the upgrade options. DEV needs to
come up with a "one-step" process that does not involve multiple reboots
nor excessive time. If the new solution doesn't work for SE, then they
are willing to go with flash upgrades since they don't anticipate more
than 10 to 15 evals per quarter. The upgrade must include the new flash
layout change.
5)	Brian to work with Raj and Raghu to come up with cutoff dates
for accepting new customer-reported bugs and merging 2.2.x patches.
6)	Jobi is back, so he can begin looking into the limits testing
performance issues for inodes and subdirectories.

Please feel free to reply back to all with this message if you recall
anything important I may have missed.

Regards,

Andy
