Andy, this is in your area. We know that when we crash fp/txrx, we get a
crashdump in /var. What May was trying to see is to check if with the
new layout, space is reallocated from other partition when /var is full.
Apparently not, since the crashdump files could not be written. We just
want confirmation from you about the space allocation behavior
