Tim, Brian, Max, Andy, Jeff, Jay, Larry

Status update from Andy.
Andy is working on linux kernel bringup on the bobcat SSC. Current
obstacle is uart initialization.
Warren will be providing a new PROM. Brian to help Andy determine the
correct value for the clock divider. Max is also helping.

Status update from Brian.
Pat still working on layout. 1480 is done; now working on 1125. Layout
should be done by the end of the month.
Brian working on other cougar modules now.

Discussion about the compact flash driver.
Current driver performs byte oriented I/O resulting in poor performance.
This could be addressed during the bobcat-on-linux or cougar projects.
Both bobcat and cougar use the TI 1520 controller. This controller
supports multiple I/O modes.
Currently we are using a byte I/O mode in order to be compatible with
cheetah. The driver could
be changed to use a different mode that performs block I/O.
This will be investigated as part of the compact flash driver task.

Question about the cougar functional spec.
Brian will start working on it after the layout is completed.

Status update from Larry.
Larry working on jumpstart development environment so that nfx-tree can
be compiled for Linux.
This to be done by end of this week. Larry is adding a new PROD type
(bl) for bobcat-on-linux.
An additional PROD type (cg) will be added for cougar.
Andy raised an objection to adding additional PROD types and instead
wants the introduction of an OS type
and an additional level in the build tree hierarchy for OS. For now,
Larry will continue with the additional PROD types
to remain consistent with the existing build model.

Long discussion about the perforce branching model that should be used
for cougar.
Another meeting has been scheduled for Wed 3/14 at 2pm that includes Ken
to discuss the
branching model and the plan for keeping cougar in sync with other
project branches.

Short discussion about Cougar schedule.
Task breakdown mostly completed. Currently working on resource loading.
This needs to be done concurrent with planning for Zonda.
Jay will be starting Zonda planning this week. Does this mean that Jay
is the Zonda dev lead?
