We should remove it as nobody uses it. It was also installed at ucsf but

he downloaded it from onstor ftp site:

it is supposed to be a tool for perf monitoring.

it does appear to be hanging on the root login. i have not changed the
root=20
password and the root login currently works. it is running on windows xp

which the documentation states that is all it works on.

I'm requesting his perf.cfg file to see if maybe he set it up wrong
