Two weeks ago Jon Toor informed me that he had an opportunity at
another company that was in need of a strong VP of Marketing. The
company is at a beta level with their product and needs a strong VP of
Marketing to help them with their launch which is scheduled in the near
term. It is Jon's belief that this new opportunity allows him to have
complete Marketing responsibility and would also allow him to apply his
knowledge of the value of virtualization. The company he is joining is
not competitive with ONStor.

=20

As you all know Jon has made numerous contributions during his four
years at ONStor culminating most recently with the Storage Magazine Gold
Medal Award which I believe was a Marketing Coup. Personally I will miss
Jon and his creativity and dedication. I have been in Silicon Valley
over twenty years and what I have learned is that if you try to hold
people back from a career opportunity both sides lose. We are fortunate
that we had both Jon and Narayan Venkat, two very excellent Marketing
Executives. Narayan has earned the opportunity to run all of Marketing
and with Jon's departure he will now become ONStor VP of Marketing.=20

=20

Monday February 26 will be Jon's last day at ONStor I hope you will all
join me in wishing both Jon and Narayan success in their new positions.
Congratulations to Jon and Narayan!

Regards,

Bob
