After the power failure, my workstation IP address changed once again.
This is a real problem for those of use that are using our workstations
for NFS and TFTP servers for
our bobcat linux and cougar filers.
I had a discussion with Brian Baker. The problem is that there is a lack
of dhcp leases so the dhcp
lease timeout is 6 hours. To get around this he has agreed to give
cougar developers long term dhcp
leases. If you need a long term lease to prevent your IP address from
changing, please send me
your system hostname and I will file a help desk request.
