Andy,

Quick question:

After the install script downloads the 46mb tarball and before it says
"unpacking distribution", what is the check it performs?

Apparently when that checks fails, it prompts for the ftp url again w/o
displaying an error message?

So far in the few times we have seen this, restarting the process works.

Confirmed, Dennis.

In the meantime, I can add a symlink so that the path given in the
release notes works.

Michael,

I just confirmed that there is no space in front of 22xx in the PDF
document. I don't know where that was picked up.

Would someone please confirm that BC needs to be added following the
RELEASE value for the Bobcat?

Thanks, Dennis

Subject: Re: issues during upgrade to 3.0.0.2

well one issue is typo based
the RN has 2 issue for the BC entry # ftp=20
ftp://ftp.onstor.com/outbound/software/EverON/3.0.0.2/=20
22xx/everon-3.0.0.2-install.sh should be # ftp=20
ftp://ftp.onstor.com/outbound/software/EverON/3.0.0.2/22xx/everon-3.0.0.
2BC-install.sh
so the issue is the space before 22xx and the BC is missing
After correcting that the install script was downloaded

currently running the install script again to see if it works better now
Will post the outcome

Michael
