Andy,

I agree.  I think it would be helpful if Dev, in general, was more aware
of the CS posting process, which lack is mostly my fault for not
documenting it.

I have some ideas about this and will be in contact with everybody
shortly.

I'm all for people hacking on things and whatnot, but in the future
something like this should be communicated to Dev.  The reason being
that it might be possible to codify the change such that the program
itself can figure out the right thing to do.  Maybe not in this
particular case, but in general.  And also of course so that Dev is
aware of what the customer is running.  Also this particular case isn't
a big deal because it was just a default URL, a correct one can always
be typed in.
