Subject: compac flash LEDs

As opposed to compact flash LEDs.

Q1:

Anyway, just curious who/what handles the LEDs by the compact flash.
Does the PROM do that?=20

<PROM does NOT do anything with these LED's>

 Could the OS do that?=20

<U bet, all yours>

 I was thinking that the
LED should be red if a filesystem on the CF card was mounted R/W, so
that the user would know not to pull a CF card if it was mounted.

<Might have a problem with the color "RED". If I'm not mistaken, in
European markets the color "RED" means "Emergency" "Power Down" Maybe
this has changed, but I remember changing lots of LED's...>

Q2:

Is the pd6729 interrupt(s) edge or level? Are they any different from
the natsemi interrupts? We don't use them for OpenBSD, so I'm breaking
new ground here.

< U mean the Intel pd6729 and the TI1520?
PROM does very little with this and I don't know off hand. Sorry>

Cheers,

a
