QA is testing the AOL ECR. The filer will now periodically reset the
password on the domain account. Since the password age is number
of days, in order not to wait around, QA moves the clocks forward by
N days to arbitrary trigger the password reset.

QA noticed that when they moved the clock forward by N days, vsvr
command stop working. Eg.

eng29 diag> vsvr show =20
% Command failure.

vol show works find.

Killing vsd remedied this problem.

Is there some side effect in our system due to moving the clock forward
a lot without restarting the daemons? For example, I can imagine some
software all of a sudden seeing time in the future :-).

Thanks,
Ron B[ee]
