I recently saw this message:

Dec 18 11:35:30 g9r10 : 0:0:cluster2:ERROR: ClusterCtrl_RecvPingMsg: =
destion host name g7r10 does not match local host name g9r10

It occurred because SC2 on one of the filers was configured with the =
same address as SC2 on the other filer. When you add a node to a =
cluster, the old node queries the new node (using the address you =
specified in the "cluster add nasgateway" command) to get a list of all =
of its interfaces. One of the nodes (I don't remember if it's the old =
one or the new one) then filters out addresses like loopback and =
backplane addrs. If any of the remaining addrs is duplicated on another =
node, you'll see this message.

If it's NOT a configuration problem check with May or John K, as they =
saw this problem last week. One of them may be able to point you to the =
defect on it. I documented the function calls involved there.

repeatedly on one of the clustered cougar filer.

Can you please let me know if they are known problems?

Thanks.
