What is the IP address of ripper? My DNS lookups couldn't find it.

And thanks for doing this.

Subject: rudimentary root file system suitable for compiling

I have gathered the bits for a rudimentary root filesystem which is
suitable to build against (.so's and .h's). Undoubtedly there are
things missing. All you have to do is ask if you want something
added. Like, I just realized it should have libssl-dev package because
we have source code that links with libssl. I'll add that one.

Attached is the shell script I used to create this filesystem. It
probably looks remarkably easy. That's because it is. Which is why I
do it this way ~:^)

I have NFS exported it, with no_root_squash just in case. You can
mount it, and point a symlink to it from some generic location in the
build tree so that when we are actually building all these bits
ourselves you can just remove the link and voila.

The NFS share is:

ripper.onstor.net:/var/chroot/etch-mipsel

Let me know if there is any problem accessing it or if there is
anything that needs to be added. I'm sure there will be several things.

Cheers,

a
