Also I never get a console login prompt. Does it happen to you as well
or I need to change something in configuration or startup scripts?

These are the last things printed on the console:

Starting NFS common utilities: statd.
Starting NTP server: ntpd.
Starting deferred execution scheduler: atd.
Starting periodic command scheduler: crond.
