I've posted some docs to Mightydog that can be used as a reference for =
the chassis manager development. As an overview of the chassis, I've =
included the following block diagram that Pat did that shows how the =
various boards on Cougar are connected:
=20
\\mightydog\hardware\Cougar\Docs\chassis.pdf
=20
Next, the following flowchart illustrates the various events that the =
chassis manager must respond to. Note that Warren will be developing =
this code to run in PROM, and as we did with Bobcat, the chassis manager =
can use this code as a reference. =20
=20
<file://\\mightydog\hardware\Cougar\Docs\Visio-Cougar> =
\\mightydog\hardware\Cougar\Docs\Visio-Cougar =
<file://\\mightydog\hardware\Cougar\Docs\Visio-Cougar=A0chassis =
management.pdf> chassis management.pdf
=20
Finally, here's a block diagram of the mezzanine board that contains =
several of the components that the chassis manager must obtain status =
from. =20
=20
\\mightydog\Hardware\Cougar\Mezzanine\Docs\Visio-Cougar mezzanine block =
diagram.pdf
=20
To accompany the block diagram, I've posted vendor datasheets for all of =
the components in the following directory:
=20
\\mightydog\Hardware\Cougar\Mezzanine\Specs
=20
The chassis manager will also have to leverage registers in the BM-FPGA, =
and those register definitions are in the memory map doc that I sent a =
few minutes ago.
