It turns out the problem with my root filesystem was /etc/hosts was not
being created or configured. I am checking into where the breakdown
occurs.=20

One other thing I see is onstor/initial_config is not updating
/etc/hosts with the SSC IP address and hostname when it does exist.

The thing that surprises me most was how much of the system was working
without /etc/hosts. SSH was happy, and lots of other utilities.

Larry

P.S. Yes, I am more than slightly embarrassed that I didn't notice
/etc/hosts was missing sooner. But I am feeling much better that I found
it myself and not Max. I didn't want to owe him a case a beer. Hmm,
seems like whenever a case a beer is on the line I figure out what is
going wrong.
