All,

In response to some of the questions that have come thru regarding this
issue:

First, I received a number of Amens!

1. How is the process different when there is already a posted opening
for another group and I'm simply submitting resumes against the
already-posted openings?

ANSWER: When sending your resume to the hiring manager of a posted
opening (AND all future openings), send to the hiring manager and cc me.
I can then time stamp the resume and follow up to see if the candidate
is a good fit for the position. If we hire the candidate, you will
receive an email from me with the details of when you will receive your
bonus. I will also alert Kathy in Accounting. =20

2. Where does the contact with recruiters come in?

ANSWER: I understand that the current process has each hiring manager
making contact with your own recruiters. All recruiters must sign
ONStor's recruiting agreement. This process seems to be working...I see
no need to change it. Margaret may decide to pass on this process to
me.....at which time I will send out an email of the change.

Regards,

Trudy

Hi all,

It is impressive how you all have taken a proactive roll in filling
positions on your team and in your group. =20

What I would like to do is put a process in place that will assist you
and the company in managing job openings at ONStor.

In a company our size, these kinds of openings usually file through
Human Resources. After speaking with Jerry, we have come up with an
initial process to address this issue.

Job Openings & Hiring Process

1. Work with your manager/VP on the opening you would like to fill
2. Write a job description (contact me and I will send you a template)
3. Obtain your manager/VP approval of the job description
4. Send it to Trudy Schapansky, Human Resources Manager, who will do
the following:
	a. Format the job description=20
	b. Send out an company email highlighting new openings in the
company...so you all can take advantage of the $2500 referral
fee
	c. Contact IT to post the opening on our web site
	d. Work with hiring Manager to coordinate & schedule interviews
with all candidates

If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by or email me.

Regards,

Trudy
