Wow, sorry to hear that Andy. Did the bike toss you or did somebody pull =
in front of you or...
=20
Anyway, hope your healing is coming along. Until you get the neck brace =
off I'll resist the urge to yell "HEY!" from the side ;)
=20
Regarding the sendmail changes, the easiest thing I found in p4v to do =
was to pull up View->Submitted Changelists and enter:
=20
//depot/.../nfx-tree/code/sendmail/...
=20
into the path box and hit filter or whatever the stupid button is named. =
Make sure you have the 3 periods in both places in the path.
=20
This will pull up a list in reverse chronological order of every change =
to the sendmail code since the first change; the checkin of the raw =
sources. What seemed easiest to me was to click on the user tab and =
reorder by user, that way you can quickly discount all of mine and =
Larry's changes which are all merges/branching operations with no source =
changes.
=20
Now you have a list of changelists you can click on to get the comments =
and diffs from, and is probably most of what you need. If it's not just =
let me know, or better yet give me a holler tomorrow sometime in the =
office and I'll come by.
=20
Thanks, and take care,
=20
-Ken

Hi Ken,

Well, as you know, things have been just a bit rocky lately. On the
10th when you sent this I was spending 14 hours in the Stanford ER
having been released from Valley Med. 4 days earlier, so things were
still a bit nutty!

Anyway, I'd love it if you could lay the magic path on me, the
productivity increase would be a huge boon to me right now. Is this a
path I type into p4v somewhere? Or something completely different?

Thanks,

a

this:<BR>&gt; &gt;<BR>&gt; &gt; p4 changes =
//depot/*/nfx-tree/code/sendmail/... | egrep -i -v<BR>&gt; &gt; =
"(inte|branch|merge|kenr|larry|pull|adding sendmail)" | awk '{ =
print<BR>&gt; &gt; $2 }' | xargs p4 describe -s &gt; =
sendmail.diffs.out<BR>&gt; &gt;<BR>&gt; &gt; That egrep strips out the =
initial source checkin since it's not of<BR>&gt; &gt; much use to you =
I'd imagine. If you need anything else at all just<BR>&gt; &gt; let me =

you<BR>&gt; &gt; &gt; to show me how to get it, if possible.&nbsp; When =
