Hi again.
Customer tried the reboot, then had several questions.

Here are the comments from customer (my thoughts after "-->")
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D
Obviously, the kill didn't work. I already rebooted the "source" filer
yesterday but the snapmirror snapshot is still hanging around and no new
snapmirror snapshots get created (as scheduled).

Do I need to reboot the "target" filer too ?
--> I would think so as we aren't sure which side was hung. And since
the source didn't fix it...=20
[EB] Reboot source; if you still can't reestablish it reboot dest too.=20

Do they need to be rebooted in a particular order ?
--> I would guess not, just not simulttaneously=20
[EB] Source first, as above.
=20
Do I need to reboot both "source" filers since we have 2 filers
clustered at the source side and one filer at the target side ?
--> hmmn, good question. would assume just the filer owning that
vsvr/volume=20
[EB] Correct, just the one hosting the vsvr doing the mirror.=20

When rebooting, is a 'system reboot' from the application level telnet
session good enough or should it be a "root" level reboot from the Linux
root level prompt ?
--> this shouldn't matter, a reboot is a reboot.=20
[EB] Actually it does matter -- "system reboot" does a clean shutdown,
but root-level "reboot" does not and should be avoided in almost every
circumstance. In general, always use the nfxsh command in preference to
a BSD-level command.

Based on my answers above, would I get a passing grade?
