Hey Jean-Paul,

Here are my recommendations for the CSLab for next year. You are going
to need some OS licenses, so I put you guys down for an MSDN
subscription as well as some dedicated XP licenses that can be upgraded
to windows vista. That should give you access to enough OS resources to
get all of your current systems in good shape as well as provide
resources for a VMWare environment. I also stuck a VMWare server in
there that should be beefy enough to handle a bunch of VM's without
choking up too much. Since the CSLab rack only had 1 switch, which
forced your Gateways to have the FP and Management network on the same
subnet, I put you down for a 10/100 switch to get your systems a
separate subnet for the management network on the Gateways. Since you
guys are looking at having additional Gateways I put you down for a
bigger GigE switch. You might consider switching your entire environment
to Copper GigE as opposed to Fiber GigE. Your current set of clients is
Copper GigE and your gateways are fiber. That would clean up your
cabling a bit. I also have you down for a set of Qlogic SAN switches,
the current Brocade switches are not supported by Pantera, besides, you
will need the additional capacity for the new gateways. And Finally I
got you down for 2 ONStor Bobcat 2240s.

Total estimated cost: $39,600.00

Please forward this along to the team for review and get back to me ASAP
with any changes.
