Our Exchange server hit an issue this morning at 12:10am where the
information store stopped. This affects user access to the mail server
but email from the internet was still coming in. The problem coincides
with when our backup agent runs and we are working to determine the root
cause. This is the first outage of this kind. Trung restored mail
services at 7:00am at which time access was restored. Frank Laurencio
has placed email availability at the top of IT's priority list (in
parallel with mightydog monitoring and support) and this is something we
will address this month.=20

Thanks to all those that contacted us this morning =20

Regards

Brian
