Hi folks,
If you have a private Red Hat build machine sync your dev branch, =
particularly dev/linux/...
and run make install_toolchain

This will update your build machine with the latest cross build =
packages. This is needed to get the libc packages that have the fixes =
for debugging SSC cores.

I updated linux-compile and compile2. I tried to update compile but rpm =
just hangs. I can't kill the rpm proceeses so I presume this system =
needs to be rebooted to clear up the issues with RPM. At least this has =
helped in the past. Also, if I am to believe the output of the rpm =
query, compile has very old libc6 mipsel cross packages installed.

If your compile system is running a Debian Linux or a derivative (i. e. =
Ubuntu) cd to dev/linux/Pkgs/binary/Deb and run dpkg -i =
libc6-mipsel-cross_2.3.6.ds1-13_all.deb and
dpkg -i libc6-dev-mipsel-cross-2.3.6.ds1-14.noarch.rpm.

Larry
