This BS is really starting to piss me off.  I'm appealing the only
person I can think of who might be able to get through to Max that
there's going to be unpleasant consequences if he can't abide by the
adopted conventions of the group.  Everyone else does, within human
limits.  So can he.

I've been nice, I've been polite, I've ignored Max's many attempts to
personalize the issue and his insults and all the rest.  I've tried to
point out to him that he's never once made any substantive statement
explaining why he refuses to do what he should; while I've clearly and
calmly given him all the reasons why the practice is in place. In
other words, I'm not taking the blame for his behavior.
