Jairo,
=20
The issue is on the customer side. The customer set my email address as
the mail to for Autosupport and I received several emails with no issue.
The email address was a FQDN address. I am not sure what else can be
done, it is the InfoCrossing mail server not allowing the email, not the
Calpine mail servers. Calpine email servers send the mail with no
issues. The person that opened the case is a contractor for the
outsourcing company. =20

Subject: case 7098--[Calpine Houston--setup FQDN in email alert]

Hey guys,

=20

System is running 3.1.0.13 as a single node.

=20

Customer called in and states email alerts at filer level are being
filtered by their windows exchange server and classified into
spam(dropped) because the Ontsor box does not have a FQDN.

=20

Will this require reconfiguring the entire cluster from scratch to
change its name?

=20

Or is there a way to modify this in the sendmail file?

Anyone know where the sendmail file is located?

=20

There production deadline will not be met until this FQDN is setup.

=20

Thanks,

=20

jairo
