Folks,

We will be doing a node shutdown on the new 3PAR unit on Tuesday morning
in order to complete qualification testing. The node to be shutdown
will be Node 3. This will affect the following Cougars:

G4R5
G6R10
G10R10
G14R10

If you are using one of these Cougars, you will notice that your 3PAR
LUNs will disappear during this test, but they will be restored when the
node is restarted. Please let me know if you have any concerns about
this plan.

Thanks,
John

Subject: Scheduling a controller/node fail over on the 3Par for 2/19

I need to schedule a 30 minute window on Tuesday to shutdown one of the
3Par nodes for the controller fail-over on the qualification testing
with Cougar. Volumes using luns that have single scsi paths will be
affected. Can we get this schedule for either first thing Tuesday
morning, or at lunch.

Thanks,

Thank you Shawn Currin, for placing your call concerning:

********************************************
Access to the 3Par array on node 2
I have access to ports 3:5:1 and 3:5:2. I need two ports on node 2 and
have them mapped to the existing vluns I'm using. A reboot of one of
the nodes will need to be done to complete the qualification of the 3Par
with Cougar.
