Hello all,

=20

Just wondering if anyone has seen this. =20

=20

I have remote access to the LSI EC in Parsippany NJ and I was trying to
do a remote upgrade to 3.2 on the Bobcats that are there. I putty in
and kickoff the upgrade using the system upgrade -s command and all
starts out well. It connects to the ftp server at onstor and downloads
the 3.2 tarball. Once the tar file has been downloaded, nothing else
happens. My putty session just seems to sit there, doing nothing. When
I open another putty session and login as root and run top, I see that
the vsd process is taking up all of the CPU cycles.

=20

I have tried this using the system upgrade command as well as using the
installation script and I have pointed to ftp to ONStor and also to my
local PC and it has done the same thing everytime. I know the 3.2 on my
local machine is good because I have used it for other 3.2 upgrades
already and all had been successful.

=20

I can certainly go onsite and do this all locally without much of a
problem and perhaps the upgrade would work fine. I am just looking to
see if anyone has seen this before and what they did to resolve the
issue.

=20

Thanks,

=20

Ben Piela
