G5r10 now sees the same LUNs as g6r10.
G14r10 now sees the same LUNs as g10r10.

Thanks Larry. I'll be out of the office on Monday. John V, can you make
some progress with getting these systems some resources on Monday as a
top priority?

The Rack 204 systems need all ports connected, 4 fp and 4 sp. that
should just be a straight cabling job with no patch panel. For storage
please hook them up with the 20TB DotHill array on the bottom of Rack 64
and use one of the newer Qlogic SAN switches for connectivity. I think
there is one with enough available ports on the SAN Rack with the Qlogic
switches. There is one near the bottom of the stack with just a dot hill
array from Rack 49 on it and a filer or two. We'll remove the current
cabling to the 3Par switches.

With those systems connected to the DotHill on Rack 64 we can provide
luns greater then 2 TB for those systems and a mix of other sizes.
Please check with Vikas for lun size details and or requirements.

For g7r6 I;ve already cabled it by splitting the patch panel resource
allotment for that slot. Only 1 fp and 1 sp each is required at this
time. We may need to install some form of additional patch cabling if
the requirement is greater then that, but this will work for now. The sp
port is cabled to one of the two 3Par switches and the resources should
be setup for clustering with g4r6 (the top slot cougar).

For g5r10 and g14r10 I have started the cabling, but g14r10 needs 2 SP
ports connected in. We can take S2-10 1-2 and S2-10 3-4 to provide two
sp connections to the 3Par switches. If one of the 3Par switches is
full, you can use the other one, there should be enough there between
the two. These systems need to be clustered with the resources of the
top slot cougars.

Thanks

John

John,
I have all of the new QA systems up and running submittal 4 with NFS
root filesystems.

The development system is running a build from 1/17/08

The following systems are waiting for storage:

Name SSC IP Address
g10r204 10.2.204.10
g11r204 10.2.204.11
g12r204 10.2.204.12
g5r10 10.2.10.5
g14r10 10.2.10.14
g7r6 10.2.6.7
