It is true that you can't re-integrate an already edited/integrated file =
( you *can* however re-edit an already integrated file, basically to fix =
it up after the merge in case the compile fails or something ). In p4v =
it seems like a bug in their context menus, e.g. it should have grayed =
out the unavailable operations when you selected your file.=20

There are only two ways I can think of, one is the way you mentioned of =
backing out the whole enchilada. This would not leave any funny blips in =
the integration records. The other thing you could do depending on how =
many files we're talking is to copy your files out of the way, revert =
the original integrates/edits/deletes, then manually p4 edit and p4 =
delete your files. That one is slightly less work but you keep the merge =
records intact, especially if you're renaming files and want to be able =
to back up past the renaming point. =20

Is there any overlap in the new/old locations so you don't have to =
revert all the work you've done?

Basically, I moved some files using integrate/delete, but didn't always
move them to a file of the same name. Now, of course, I've decided I
don't like where I moved them to, and want to move them somewhere
else. Is there an easy way of moving the already moved (not submitted
yet) files somewhere else? Easier than reverting the integrates and
deletes, and re-integrating and re-deleting them? If I right-click on
one of the files in p4v, it gives me a menu with "move/rename" in it,
but if I select that, it says "can't move/rename, file is already
opened" or something like that. But if I can't, then why did it give
me that option in the menu in the first place.
