Andy,
We were talking today about using an alternate machine besides the
production system (stargate) to place tar balls that we use to upgrade
our filers.
Well, I just set up linux-compile so we can use it as an ftp server for
upgrades.

We can do the following from the nfxsh:
system upgrade -f
ftp://upgrade:password@10.0.0.143/home/upgrade/R2.1.0.DEV-BCDBG-110706.t
ar.gz

I am using it to upgrade the flash on one of my filers now.

I needed to install wu-ftp on linux-compile to get the ftp transfers to
work. Gssftp was too restrictive.

Larry
