Hi Fred,

There is no progress on this.  The "fix" that Apple suggested apparently
made things worse.  I don't know what the status is with the patch that
Apple was on deck to release-- their last one, 10.5.5 seems not to be
any better. =20

The workaround is to manually mount the  share through the Mac CLI.
Given how this issue is spreading through our customer base we should
consider how we might re-engage Apple for assistance.

Even with the patch and adding the .com file workaround.

Are there any solutions in progress for this?
Can we suggest a new release to a customer?

Any favorable results with the one off patch used in version 3.1?
