Subject: new prom changes added to 1.0.6?

Howdy folksez,

There is one or two prom changes I would like to see, and I was
wondering if it's too late to work on them and get them into 1.0.6
before it becomes official.

One semi-important one is that loading images off the CF card is very
slow. Some kind of optimizations need to be implemented in that code.

The other is some easier way to specify arbitrary Linux kernel
arguments. The problem with the current setup is that in order to get
all the cores booted, you have to hand load the other two images as
well as the Linux image. Unless there is a way to do that which I'm
not aware of.

Cheers,
