Summary - Fri Aug  8 16:08:06 PDT 2008
======================================

PD still has three bugs; they are in the filesystem corruption area.
We do not have an ETA on a completed analysis of these issues, and
therefore do not have any additional information.

We are proceeding with the release process while we continue to analyze
and work on these bugs. The plan is to be able to make some kind of
informed recommendation regarding customer risk by the time we are ready
to start shipping boxes (little over a week).

Part of that will be installing today's release candidate build on MD
tomorrow (and migrating off the DH storage), and starting backups again
on Mightydog.

Another part will be trying to create a "customer environment" testing
setup by QA. Sandrine is preparing a list of needed equipment and
expected schedule. The idea is that it not have DH storage and run some
predictive tests that can be used to determine more information in the
event of a similar bug.
