Sounds like we should set up virtual server functionality on linux (one
of the reasons for switching to Linux and not NetBSD is that advanced
features available on Linux) and get all this for free w/o modifying
these standard packages.

Exim, for example, has virtual server capability built it.  Just
change the config file, and restart.
