I finally wrapped my brain around the undeniable fact that we were
being reset by the WD, therefore the sbwdog driver wasn't disabling the
WD timer.  The only reason for that must be that the addresses for the
first two timers in the 1480 are different than the timer addresses for
the 1250/1125. I just disabled the timer at the PROM prompt and I'll
get around to finding the correct addresses and fixing the header files
at some later junction.
