Just try to think about what might have changed or somehow gone away.
Did he have a cron job that sync'd a repository for the liszt client
for all branches every couple of minutes or something?  Or was there a
trigger that got lost that caused the liszt client to update that
branch every time someone did a checking?  It's something related to
that client somehow.
