Here is a pointer to the latest versions of the two documents I've been
brewing for some time now.  The design doc is probably new to
Rendell and Brian, and I've made some additions since the last time
Bill saw it, so I thought it would be a good time to pass them around
again, now that we have a new member of the team!.  I'm getting ready to
put the design doc out for preliminary review, so let me know if you
have any feedback on that, or questions. Questions are helpful because
they can be useful to point out areas that are too vague or just
generally unclear.
