If a particular way of specifying something, like a client, doesn't
work, the UI should prevent/refuse when the user tries to use that
syntax.  It sounds like Burzon used an IP address instead of a hostname
to specify a client?  I'm also assuming that the nexenta UI was
actually involved in the operation.

In other words, this is a bug that should be fixed.  I would say
"filed" but knowing JohnnyK like I do, he's already filed it.  And
probably just my luck Mr. Keiffer hates to be called Johnny ~:^)
