I'm curious as to what "incorrect inferences" Ed might be referring
to.  It was ALL over the web site, now it isn't.  The only thing the
article said was something along the lines of 'Apparently Apple
decided it's not ready yet....' which could certainly include licensing
issues.  And let's not forget that "licensing issues" is pablum for
1-million different things.  What licensing issues could they have?
Apple was going down the ZFS road for more than a year and I can't see
them proceeding all this time w/o such things ironed out long ago.  On
the other hand, maybe their lawyers [idiots] are telling them to hold
off, claiming the Oracle buyout makes things "uncertain."  Given the
opportunity, a lawyer will always tell you that what you are doing or
contemplating is too risky. Unless you're foolishly contemplating
paying their bill.
