OK.  Well, for future reference, normally I wouldn't intend for you to
spend more than a half hour or so on something like that, at least the
investigation part of it.  Although in this case the knowledge gained is
good.  I wonder how long that routine takes to compute a checksum on a
core dump.  Or is it only doing it on the crashfile (backtrace) in the
case of Linux?

I don't think I ever quite heard the end of the story in regards to
crashfile format difference.  Did you get that sorted?
