I got an email, but I haven't opened it. I have no idea if it contains
the micro-salary adjustment Dennis just mentioned to me. It was sent to
my personal email address rather than Onstor.

I had a chat earlier with Bob regarding the deal with Yahoo v. the LSI
offer, which isn't sitting all that well with me, v. doing my own
startup, etc. I also just got off the phone with Dennis where we
talked about this "Engineer" thing which just doesn't fit with me and
where I see myself and this project. I'm still not buying the sales
pitch given and probably never will, so I hope there's some leaway
there, as I want to come into LSI contributing at a much higher level
than that. A level where I'm sure I can make this project successful
from both time and content perspectives. And also from a maintenance
and continuation perspective. I feel I've gotten to a certain point,
or almost to a certain point at Onstor, and now the idea is I start all
over from the beginning at LSI and I just can't see myself agreeing to
that.

I'd like to hear what you might have to say on the subject. Dennis
said he would set up a conversation with Nelson and also one with
Phil. I'm not exactly sure how that would help but it won't hurt.

Cheers,
