Subject: boldish new lab plan -- no too bold or new

After Arnaldo leaves us today, I'll be taking over direction of the
elab. One of the first things I want to do is put together a plan of
where we want this thing to go in the lab to improve it's usefulness
including how efficiently it can be utilized.

I know what I want, but different folks use the lab and its resources
in different ways, so I wanted to get feedback from you folks on what
the lab is useful for and what it should be useful for.

Please take just a couple of minutes to look over this short list of
things, and give me your feedback: what else needs to be on the list;
what other requirements are missing from current things on the list;
what crazy things should we have but have never been dreamt of yet?

Thanks,

a
