Hi R,

what's the story with the code in the sm-testdump directory?  Is this
code used for anything?  it's sm-foo, does that mean it isn't built for
userspace?

it seems that i originally got rid of double parens in PRINT/LOG/DEBUG
macros in most of the .c files, but your checkin restored them?  does
that match your understanding?

i'm putting together a small changelist to do some minor code merge
cleanups post your checkin, and this directory came up, so i'm trying
to figure out what the story is.
