Hi Trinh,

If you're not the right person for this, let me know, but I think it
might be you so I'll start with you.

We have had several new hires lately, and are likely to keep 'em coming
for a while. Hence, I'd like to see if we can't streamline the new
hire process with respect to IT tasks so that we can stay ahead of
things on our end. The main goal is to have workstations and/or
laptops up and ready for the new hire to use their first day. That
will require getting some of the IT tasks out of the way prior to their
first day or coincident with their first day so that tasks we have to
take care of here that are dependent on those IT tasks having been
completed can also be completed the first day.

I don't know, but I'm guessing some of the stuff already exists for
doing this, so I'm thinking it hopefully is just a matter of hooking
into those processes so that this can all happen smoothly for the new
hire process here at LSI/Campbell.

Let me know if you want to sit down and talk some of this through, or
whatever. I can make the big trip to sunny Milpitas -- you don't
always have to come over here. Although we always like to see you.
And it is nice over here.

Cheers,

a
